License Activation Basics
Each WordPress Multisite network running MultilingualPress requires a single license activation. The number of language sites you can run within that network depends on your license tier. One license covers one WordPress installation in Multisite mode, regardless of how many subdomains, sub-sites, or mapped top-level domains it includes.
What Is “One Activation”?
An activation refers to one WordPress installation—Multisite or not. Even if you’re running 20 sub-sites for different regions or languages under a single Multisite setup, it’s still considered one activation. Just ensure your license tier supports the number of languages you intend to use.
Important Note: Staging or development sites generally do not count toward your license activation, provided they are clearly used for testing purposes.
